Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Here’s a super simple and family-friendly Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna recipe — the easiest way to enjoy lasagna flavors without the layering fuss or boiling noodles!


Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage, or a mix)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (or homemade)

  • 1 (20–25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli (do not thaw)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Brown the Meat:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until meat is browned and onion is soft (about 6–8 minutes).

    • Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds.

    • Drain excess grease if needed.

    • Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and the jar of marinara sauce. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Layer in Crockpot:

    • Lightly spray the crockpot with nonstick spray.

    • Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom.

    • Add a single layer of frozen ravioli.

    • Spoon more meat sauce over ravioli.

    • Sprinkle with mozzarella and a little Parmesan.

    • Repeat layers (ravioli → sauce → cheese) until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.

  3. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.

    • It’s done when the ravioli are tender and everything is hot and melty.

  4. Finish & Serve:

    • Let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to firm up.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley or basil if desired.


Optional Add-ins:

  • A layer of ricotta cheese in the middle for a more classic lasagna vibe.

  • Add spinach or mushrooms to the meat sauce for extra veggies.

  • Use beef ravioli or spinach-ricotta ravioli for variety.
