  • 1Β½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil

  1. Preheat grill or oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).

  2. Prep the ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, toss cubed steak and potatoes with olive oil, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Assemble the foil packs:

    • Cut 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil.

    • Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly among the foil sheets.

    • Fold up the sides, seal tightly into packets (leave a little room inside for air circulation).

  4. Cook:

    • Grill: Place foil packs on the grill over medium heat. Cook for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

    • Oven: Place foil packs on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes.

  5. Optional β€” Add cheese:
    Carefully open packs and sprinkle cheese on top. Reseal and let sit for 2–3 minutes to melt.

  6. Serve:
    Open carefully (steam will be hot!). Garnish with chopped parsley or chives.
