Here’s a crowd-pleasing, crispy, and flavorful recipe for Parmesan Garlic Potatoes—perfect as a side dish or even a snack. These golden roasted potatoes are tossed in garlic, herbs, and a generous amount of Parmesan cheese for the ultimate crispy-cheesy bite.


🧄 Parmesan Garlic Roasted Potatoes

🔥 Oven Temp: 400°F (200°C)


🥔 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (about 4–5 medium) Yukon gold or red potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped parsley or fresh thyme for garnish


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil for easy cleanup.

  2. Prep Potatoes
    In a large bowl, toss potato chunks with olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add Parmesan
    Sprinkle in most of the Parmesan (reserve a few tablespoons for topping later) and toss again to evenly coat.

  4. Roast
    Spread potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 35–45 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  5. Finish & Serve
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Garnish with parsley or thyme, and serve hot.


✅ Tips & Variations

  • Extra crispy? Preheat the baking sheet before adding the potatoes.

  • Cheese options: Swap Parmesan for Pecorino Romano or Asiago.

  • Add heat: Toss in red pepper flakes or a pinch of smoked paprika.

  • Air fryer: Cook in batches at 380°F (193°C) for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway through.
