Banana splits for breakfast? Absolutely โ€” and you can make them both fun and nourishing! Hereโ€™s a breakfast-style banana split that swaps the usual ice cream for yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and optional indulgent extras. Itโ€™s fast, customizable, and perfect for kids and grown-ups.


๐ŸŒ Breakfast Banana Split

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients (per serving):

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and split lengthwise

  • ยฝโ€“ยพ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla โ€” or use dairy-free yogurt)

  • ยผ cup granola or muesli

  • Handful of berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • 1 tablespoon nut butter, melted (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • A sprinkle of chia seeds, coconut flakes, or mini chocolate chips

  1. Slice the banana in half lengthwise and lay the halves in a shallow bowl or plate.

  2. Scoop or dollop the yogurt between or on top of the banana halves.

  3. Add toppings:
