🥚🔥 Crispy Air Fryer Scotch Eggs
Ingredients (Makes 4 Scotch eggs):

4 large eggs, hard or soft boiled to your liking

12 oz (340g) breakfast sausage or ground pork

Salt & pepper, to taste

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika

½ cup all-purpose flour
-
1 raw egg, beaten
-
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

Cooking spray or light oil
🔧 Instructions:
1. Boil the Eggs:

Place eggs in boiling water and cook:

6–7 minutes for soft yolks

9–10 minutes for hard-boiled

Cool in ice water, then peel.
2. Season and Divide the Sausage:

Mix sausage with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Divide into 4 equal portions.
3. Wrap Eggs in Sausage:

Flatten a portion of sausage into a thin patty.

Gently wrap around a peeled egg, sealing it completely.

Repeat with remaining eggs.
4. Bread the Eggs:

Roll each sausage-wrapped egg in flour, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs.

Press breadcrumbs on to coat evenly.
5. Air Fry:

Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.

Lightly spray the basket and place Scotch eggs inside without crowding.

Spray tops of eggs with oil or cooking spray.

Air fry for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp should reach 160°F for pork).
