🧈🥤 7-Up Biscuits
Ingredients (Makes 8–10 biscuits):
-
2 cups Bisquick baking mix (or other self-rising baking mix)
-
½ cup sour cream
-
½ cup 7-Up or Sprite
-
¼ cup melted butter
🔧 Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9×9 or 8×8-inch baking dish.
-
-
Make the Dough:
-
In a large bowl, mix Bisquick, sour cream, and 7-Up until just combined. The dough will be very soft and sticky — that’s normal.
-
-
Shape the Biscuits:
-
Lightly flour your hands and a surface.
-
Gently press or pat the dough into about ¾-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter or glass.
-
-
Place in Buttered Dish:
-
Arrange biscuits in the pan, letting them nestle close together.
-
-
Bake:
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
-
-
Serve Warm:
-
Brush with extra butter if you like and serve with honey, jam, or sausage gravy.
-
✅ Tips:
-
Don’t overmix the dough — keep it tender!
-
You can make mini biscuits for sliders or breakfast sandwiches.
-
Works with Diet 7-Up or Sprite Zero, too.
