Ingredients (Serves 6–8):

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for that cheeseburger flavor)

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (or use store-bought pizza dough)

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Optional toppings: mini pepperoni, sliced pickles, olives, or bell peppers

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste


🔧 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan or round baking dish.


2. Cook Beef Mixture:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and cooked through.

  • Drain excess grease.

  • Stir in garlic powder, a pinch of salt and pepper, and the pizza sauce.

  • Simmer 3–5 minutes, then remove from heat.


3. Prepare Crust:

  • Unroll crescent dough and press into the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan to form a crust. Seal any seams.

  • You can prebake the crust for 5 minutes to keep it crisper (optional but helpful).


4. Assemble the Pie:

  • Spoon the meat mixture into the crust.

  • Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

  • Add optional toppings if using (e.g., mini pepperoni, pickles, peppers).

  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning for a pizza vibe.


5. Bake:

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.


6. Serve:

  • Let cool slightly before slicing.

  • Serve with extra pizza sauce, ranch, or burger-style condiments on the side.
