๐Ÿ“ Fresh Fruit Salad

๐Ÿ Ingredients (serves 6โ€“8):

You can mix and match, but hereโ€™s a balanced blend of textures and flavors:

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup green grapes or red grapes, halved

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced

  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into chunks

  • 1 apple, cored and diced (toss with lemon juice to prevent browning)

  • 1 banana, sliced (add last to avoid browning)

Optional (for added flavor):

  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime or lemon juice

  • Zest of 1 lime or lemon

  • Fresh mint, chopped (for garnish)

๐Ÿฅฃ Instructions:

  1. Wash and prep all the fruit.
Pat dry to avoid excess moisture.

  2. Combine all fruit in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Mix the dressing (optional):
In a small bowl, whisk together honey or maple syrup, citrus juice, and zest.

  4. Toss gently to coat fruit evenly with the dressing.

  5. Chill for 15โ€“30 minutes if time allows โ€” it helps meld flavors.

  6. Garnish with fresh mint and serve cold.

๐Ÿ”„ Tips & Variations:

  • Tropical twist? Add pineapple, papaya, or coconut flakes.

  • Berry-rich version? Use more strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

  • Want crunch? Sprinkle with chopped nuts or toasted coconut just before serving.

  • Need dairy? Top with a dollop of yogurt or serve over cottage cheese or ricotta.
