SLICED BAKED POTATOES

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Sliced Baked Potatoes — tender, crispy on the edges, and perfect as a side dish!


🥔🔥 Sliced Baked Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold work well)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional — parsley, thyme, or rosemary)


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

  2. Slice Potatoes:
    Wash and dry potatoes. Slice into 1/4-inch thick rounds (or slightly thicker if you prefer).

  3. Season:
    In a large bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil (or butter), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange:
    Lay the slices in a single layer on the baking sheet, slightly overlapping if needed.

  5. Bake:
    Bake for 25–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until potatoes are golden brown and crispy on edges.

  6. Serve:
    Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm as a side dish.


📝 Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, soak potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking, then dry thoroughly.

  • Add grated Parmesan or a sprinkle of chili flakes before baking for extra flavor.

  • Serve with sour cream, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce.
