Air Fryer Potato Slices

Posted on July 28, 2025

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices — perfect as a snack, side dish, or base for toppings like sour cream and cheese.

🥔 Air Fryer Potato Slices

🕒 Prep Time: 10 min

🕒 Cook Time: 15–20 min
🍽️ Serves: 2–4

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work best)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes:

    • Wash and scrub potatoes.

    • Slice into 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick rounds — thin enough to crisp but thick enough to stay tender inside.

    • Pat slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture (important for crispiness!).

  2. Season:

    • Toss potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if your model requires it.

    • Arrange slices in a single layer in the basket (you may need to do multiple batches).

    • Air fry for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy. Thinner slices may be done closer to 12–15 minutes.

  4. Serve:

    • Enjoy immediately with ketchup, ranch, or a sprinkle of Parmesan and parsley.

🔁 Variations:

  • Cheesy: Sprinkle with shredded cheese in the last 2 minutes of cooking.

  • Spicy: Add cayenne or chili powder.

  • Herby: Use rosemary, thyme, or Italian seasoning.
