AIR FRYER POACHED EGGS by Amelia

Posted on July 27, 2025

Here’s a simple, no-fuss recipe for making Air Fryer Poached Eggs — a surprisingly easy way to get that soft, runny yolk without boiling water on the stove.

🥚 Air Fryer Poached Eggs

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh eggs (cold or room temp)

  • Ramekins or silicone molds (oven-safe)

  • Boiling water (2–3 tbsp per egg)

  • Cooking spray or a little oil

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

🔪 Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Preheat Air Fryer

  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes.

2. Prepare the Cups

  • Lightly grease ramekins or silicone molds with oil or spray.

  • Pour 2–3 tablespoons of boiling water into each cup.

  • Crack 1 egg into each mold (on top of the hot water).

3. Cook

  • Carefully place ramekins into the air fryer basket.

  • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for:

    • 5 minutes for soft whites and a runny yolk

    • 6–7 minutes for a slightly firmer yolk

4. Rest and Remove

  • Let sit for 30 seconds after air frying — this helps the whites finish setting.

  • Use a spoon to gently lift out the eggs.

🍽️ Serve With:

  • Toast or English muffins

  • Avocado slices

  • Sautéed spinach or greens

  • Hollandaise for a quick eggs Benedict

💡 Tips:

  • Use fresh eggs — they hold their shape better when poached.

  • Don’t skip the boiling water — it gently steams the egg while cooking.

  • Works best in small ramekins or silicone molds that fit your air fryer basket.
