Here’s a super easy and tasty recipe for Crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices — golden on the outside, fluffy inside, and made with just a few ingredients.


🥔 Crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices

🔪 Ingredients:

  • 2 medium russet or Yukon Gold potatoes

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional for color/flavor)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh herbs or grated Parmesan (optional for garnish)


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes:

    • Wash and scrub potatoes well (you can peel them, but skin adds flavor and texture).

    • Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds — thin enough to crisp but thick enough to stay tender inside.

    • Soak the slices in cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch (makes them crispier).

  2. Dry & Season:

    • Drain and pat potato slices dry thoroughly with paper towels.

    • Toss in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if needed.

    • Arrange potato slices in a single layer in the basket — don’t overcrowd (cook in batches if needed).

    • Air fry for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  4. Serve:

    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley, thyme, or Parmesan if desired.

    • Serve hot with ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dipping sauce.


✅ Tips:

  • For extra crisp, give them a light spritz of oil halfway through cooking.

  • Try sweet potatoes for a fun twist (may need slightly shorter cooking time).

  • Want ultra-thin chips? Use a mandoline and reduce cook time by a few minutes.
