Posted on July 26, 2025

Here’s a simple and healthy recipe for Air Fryer Naked Chicken Tenders — no breading, no fuss, just juicy, flavorful chicken with a lightly crisp exterior. Perfect for meal prep, low-carb diets, or quick weeknight dinners.

🍗 Air Fryer Naked Chicken Tenders (No Breading)

Serves 2–4 | Ready in 15–20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken tenderloins or sliced boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika (or smoked paprika)

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional: ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning or lemon pepper

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, lemon wedges

Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken:

  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels.

  • Place in a bowl and toss with olive oil and seasonings until well-coated.

2. Preheat Air Fryer:

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 2–3 minutes.

3. Air Fry:

  • Place chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Chicken is done when internal temp hits 165°F (74°C) and edges are golden.

4. Serve:

  • Let rest 2 minutes before serving.

  • Great with dipping sauces: ranch, BBQ, honey mustard, or hot sauce.

📝 Tips:

  • For juicier tenders, marinate the chicken 30 minutes ahead in olive oil + lemon juice or a simple spice rub.

  • Add a touch of cayenne or chili flakes for heat.

  • These reheat great in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
