Here’s a cozy, sweet, and super easy recipe for Peach Dumpling Bubble Up — it uses refrigerated biscuit dough and canned peaches to create a bubbly, caramelized dessert that tastes like warm peach dumplings without all the work!

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands, cut into quarters)

  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches in syrup or juice, drained

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • ¾ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup Sprite, 7Up, or ginger ale (yes, it adds a gooey effect!)

  • Optional for topping: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Set oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Prepare Biscuits & Peaches:

    • Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.

    • Mix biscuit pieces and drained peach slices in a large bowl.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and vanilla.

    • Pour over the biscuit and peach mixture. Toss gently to coat.

  4. Assemble:

    • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

    • Pour the ½ cup Sprite/7Up evenly over the top (don’t stir).

  5. Bake:

    • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly, and biscuits are cooked through.

  6. Serve:

    • Let cool for 5–10 minutes (it will be HOT and gooey).

    • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.


🔁 Variations:

  • Use crescent roll dough instead of biscuits for a flakier texture.

  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.

  • Use fresh or frozen peaches in place of canned (about 2–3 cups, toss with a bit of sugar and lemon juice).
