Air Fryer Pasta Chips Recipe

Posted on July 4, 2025
Here’s a fun, crunchy, and viral snack recipe: Air Fryer Pasta Chips! They’re super easy to make with just cooked pasta, a little oil, and seasoning — and they come out crispy, cheesy, and perfect for dipping.

🍝 Air Fryer Pasta Chips

🍽️ Servings: 4 (snack portion)

⏱️ Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 10–12 mins

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (about 1 cup dry pasta) — any short shape like farfalle, penne, or rigatoni

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: chili flakes or paprika for extra flavor

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta:
Boil your pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.

  2. Season:
In a mixing bowl, toss the pasta with olive oil, Parmesan, and seasonings until evenly coated.

  3. Air Fry:

    • Place in a single layer in your air fryer basket.

    • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

    • Chips are done when golden and crispy.

  4. Cool & Serve:
Let cool for a few minutes — they’ll crisp up more.
Serve with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.

✅ Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer. Work in batches if needed.

  • Want a dairy-free version? Use nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan.

  • For extra crunch: Let pasta dry out for 10–15 minutes before air frying.

Would you like a sweet version (like cinnamon-sugar pasta chips), or a gluten-free adaptation?
