🍗 Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Ingredients (Serves 2–4):
-
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
-
1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free, helps crisp the skin)
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Optional: ½ tsp chili powder or cayenne pepper for heat
🔥 Instructions:
-
Prep the wings:
-
Pat wings very dry with paper towels.
-
In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
-
-
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
-
Cook the wings:
-
Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches).
-
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
-
Wings should be golden brown and crispy. Internal temp should reach 165°F (74°C).
-
-
Optional: Toss in sauce:
-
While wings are still hot, toss them in your favorite sauce:
-
Buffalo: hot sauce + melted butter
-
BBQ: smoky or spicy barbecue sauce
-
Garlic Parmesan: melted butter + garlic + grated Parmesan
-
-
-
Serve hot, with ranch, blue cheese dressing, celery sticks, or fries.
📝 Tips:
-
Don’t overcrowd the basket — space = crispiness.
-
For extra crispy wings, let them air-dry in the fridge for 30–60 minutes before seasoning.
-
Want saucy wings? Toss them in sauce after air frying, not before.
