OVEN FRIED POTATOES & ONIONS

Here’s a simple and delicious Oven-Fried Potatoes & Onions recipe — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of savory flavor from caramelized onions.


🥔 OVEN FRIED POTATOES & ONIONS

Ingredients:

  • 3–4 medium russet or Yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced (yellow or sweet onions work best)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter for a richer flavor)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Prep a large baking sheet by lining with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.

  3. In a large bowl, combine sliced potatoes and onions.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil, then add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until well coated.

  5. Spread the mixture evenly in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 35–45 minutes, flipping or stirring halfway through, until potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the edges, and onions are caramelized.

  7. Optional: Broil for an extra 2–3 minutes at the end if you want extra crispiness.

  8. Garnish and serve hot!


🔁 Variations:

  • Add sliced bell peppers for a color and flavor boost.

  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan during the last 5 minutes of baking.

  • Toss with a splash of balsamic vinegar before baking for a tangy twist.
