Roasted Garlic Mushrooms
Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) whole mushrooms (button or cremini)

4–6 garlic cloves, minced (or roasted garlic for a sweeter flavor)

2–3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional, for depth)

1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (or ½ tsp dried)

Salt & pepper, to taste

Optional: grated Parmesan, parsley, or chili flakes for garnish
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Set to 400°F (200°C).

Prep Mushrooms:

Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth (don’t soak).

If large, cut in halves or quarters. Leave small ones whole.

Mix:

In a bowl, toss mushrooms with olive oil/butter, garlic, herbs, balsamic (if using), salt, and pepper.

Roast:

Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway, until browned and tender.

Garlic should be golden and fragrant—not burnt.

Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley, Parmesan, or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
