DELICIOUS SHRIMP PASTA

Here’s a Delicious Shrimp Pasta recipe that’s rich, garlicky, buttery, and tossed with a light creamy or lemony sauce — restaurant-quality but super easy to make at home.


🍤 Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta

📝 Ingredients:

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine, spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ½ cup heavy cream (or substitute with half-and-half)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Zest + juice of ½ lemon

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little kick)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish


🔥 Instructions:

1. Cook Pasta:

  • Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. Cook the Shrimp:

  • Season shrimp with salt and pepper.

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.

  • Sear shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Sauce:

  • Lower heat to medium. Add remaining 1 tbsp butter and the garlic. Sauté 30 seconds to 1 minute (don’t burn it).

  • Add red pepper flakes (if using), then stir in the cream and lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly. Add a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen it.

4. Combine:

  • Return shrimp to the skillet along with cooked pasta. Toss well to coat.

  • Add lemon zest and more Parmesan, salt, or pepper if needed.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot!


🍷 Serve With:

  • A crisp green salad or roasted veggies

  • Crusty bread for sauce-mopping

  • White wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
