Posted on June 21, 2025
Here’s a super easy and crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken recipe — buttery, golden, and kid-friendly!

🍗 Crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

🥄 Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers), crushed

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional but tasty)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • ½ cup melted butter (1 stick)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and spray with nonstick spray.

  2. Crush the Ritz crackers in a zip-top bag or food processor until fine crumbs form. Pour into a shallow bowl.
Add Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

  3. Set up breading station:

    • One bowl with beaten eggs

    • One bowl with seasoned Ritz mixture

  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then press into the Ritz cracker crumbs to coat both sides well.

  5. Place chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top of each piece (this helps it get super crispy).

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

✅ Tips

  • Want extra crisp? Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.

  • Make it spicy: Add cayenne or hot sauce to the egg mixture.

  • Air fryer? Cook at 375°F for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.

Would you like a creamy dipping sauce or a variation (like honey mustard or cheddar-Ritz)?
