Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls are the ultimate comfort food snack — crispy on the outside, tender and savory inside, and packed with all your favorite holiday flavors. They’re perfect for using up Thanksgiving or Christmas leftovers, and great as appetizers, snacks, or even lunch.

🦃 Leftover Turkey Stuffing Balls Recipe

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups leftover stuffing (cold)

  • 1 cup cooked turkey, finely chopped or shredded

  • ½ cup mashed potatoes (optional, for binding)

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional, for flavor)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

For Frying or Baking:

  • Olive oil spray (for baking)

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven or Heat Oil:

  • For baking, preheat to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • For frying, heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).

2. Mix the Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes (if using), egg, Parmesan, seasonings, and breadcrumbs.

  • Mix until it holds together like a meatball mixture. If too wet, add more breadcrumbs; if too dry, add a splash of broth or more mashed potatoes.

3. Shape the Balls:

  • Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.

  • Optionally, roll each ball in additional breadcrumbs for extra crunch.

4. Cook:

To Bake:

  • Place on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Spray lightly with oil and bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

To Fry:

  • Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until deeply golden brown.

  • Drain on paper towels.

🍗 Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with gravy, cranberry sauce, or ranch dip.

  • Pair with a simple salad or slaw for a complete meal.

🔁 Variations:

  • Add a bit of chopped celery or onion for extra crunch.

  • Mix in shredded cheddar or mozzarella for a cheesy version.

  • Make them mini-sized for party appetizers or larger for meal prep.
