🍽️ Mouthwatering Parmesan Fried Pork Chops

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about ¾–1 inch thick)

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)

  • 2–4 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil (for frying)

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)


🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chops:

    • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.

    • Lightly season both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Set Up the Breading Station:

    • In a shallow dish: mix flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    • In another dish: whisk eggs and milk together.

    • In a third dish: combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  3. Bread the Chops:

    • Dredge each pork chop in the flour, shaking off excess.

    • Dip into the egg mixture, coating evenly.

    • Press into the Parmesan breadcrumb mix, ensuring an even, generous coating. Press the mixture onto the chop to help it stick.

  4. Fry the Chops:

    • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Once hot, add pork chops (don’t overcrowd the pan).

    • Fry for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C).

    • Place on a wire rack or paper towels to drain.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
