BAKED GARLIC PARMESAN POTATO WEDGES

Posted on June 8, 2025
Here’s a mouthwatering recipe for Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. They make the perfect side dish or snack!

🧄 Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

🥔 Ingredients:

  • 3–4 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional for a little kick)

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly greased foil.

2. Prepare Potatoes:

  • Cut each potato into 6–8 wedges (depending on size).

  • Place wedges in a large bowl. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

3. Add Parmesan:

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wedges and toss again to coat evenly.

4. Arrange and Bake:

  • Lay the wedges skin-side down in a single layer on the baking sheet. This helps them crisp up.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and crispy.

5. Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives before serving.

  • Serve with ketchup, ranch, sour cream, or garlic aioli.

💡 Tips:

  • Soaking the wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking can make them even crispier (just pat dry before seasoning).

  • You can use Yukon gold potatoes for a creamier interior.

  • Want it spicier? Add a pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes.

Would you like an air fryer version, or a vegan/dairy-free alternative to the Parmesan?
