Here’s a luxurious yet simple recipe for Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter, perfect for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself to a restaurant-quality dish at home.

🦞 Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

📋 Ingredients (Serves 2–4):

  • 4 lobster tails (4 to 6 oz each), thawed if frozen

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp paprika (for color)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

🔪 How to Butterfly Lobster Tails:

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail.

  2. Gently open the shell and pull the meat upward, resting it on top of the shell while keeping it attached at the base.

  3. Remove any vein or grit, if visible.

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.

  2. Make Garlic Butter:

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Prepare Lobster Tails:

    • Place butterflied tails on the baking sheet.

    • Brush generously with garlic butter, making sure to coat the meat well.

  4. Bake:

    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, depending on size, until meat is opaque and lightly browned. Internal temp should reach 135–140°F (57–60°C).

  5. Broil Option (Optional Finish):

    • For a golden top, broil on high for 1–2 minutes at the end. Watch closely!

  6. Serve:

    • Drizzle with extra garlic butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

📝 Tips:

  • Don’t overcook: Lobster becomes rubbery if overdone. Watch for the meat to turn white and opaque.

  • Serve with: Garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, or buttered noodles.

  • Add flair: Sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan over the tails before baking for a richer flavor.
