Here’s a simple and refreshing Ginger Water recipe — perfect for hydration, digestion, and a gentle detox.


🌿 Ginger Water Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced thinly

  • 4 cups (1 liter) water

  • Optional:

    • Juice of 1/2 lemon

    • 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

    • A pinch of cayenne (for a metabolism boost)


Instructions:

  1. Boil the water:
    Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.

  2. Add the ginger:
    Once boiling, add the sliced ginger.

  3. Simmer:
    Reduce heat and let simmer for 10–15 minutes (longer = stronger flavor).

  4. Strain and serve:
    Remove from heat, strain the liquid into a glass or jar.

  5. Flavor it (optional):
    Stir in lemon juice, sweetener, or cayenne if using.

  6. Enjoy warm or cold:
    Sip warm as a soothing drink or refrigerate and enjoy chilled.
