🥟 Easy Wonton Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Broth:

4 cups chicken broth (low sodium preferred)

1–2 cups water (to taste)

2 garlic cloves, minced

1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced or grated

1 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: sliced green onions, mushrooms, or bok choy
For the Wontons:

~12 frozen or homemade wontons (pork, chicken, shrimp — your choice)
🔪 Instructions:

Make the Broth:

In a pot, heat a bit of oil.

Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add chicken broth, water, soy sauce, and sesame oil.

Simmer for 5–10 minutes to infuse flavor.

Cook the Wontons:

If using frozen wontons: Add them directly to the simmering broth and cook for 4–6 minutes, or until they float and are fully cooked.

If boiling separately: Boil in another pot for 4–6 minutes, then transfer to bowls before ladling soup over.

Add Veggies (Optional):

Add chopped bok choy, spinach, or mushrooms in the last 2–3 minutes of simmering.

Serve:

Ladle soup and wontons into bowls.

Garnish with green onions, chili oil, or a squeeze of lime.

Wontons: You can use frozen from the store, or I can give you a homemade wonton filling recipe if you’re feeling ambitious.
