🍔 Homemade Hamburger, Peppers & Onion Gyros
📝 Ingredients:
For the beef:

1 lb ground beef

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste
For the veggies:

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow onion, sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste
For the gyro assembly:

4-6 pita or flatbreads (warmed)

Tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade — recipe below)

Crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
🍳 Instructions:

Cook the Beef:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.

Add garlic, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Drain any excess grease and set aside.

Sauté the Veggies:

In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions and peppers over medium heat until tender and slightly caramelized (about 8–10 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
