Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

Posted on June 2, 2025
Here’s a sweet, tangy, and ultra-creamy Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball — perfect as a party starter, holiday appetizer, or fun summer snack. It’s a tropical twist on a classic cheeseball that pairs beautifully with crackers, pretzels, or fruit.

🍍 Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

🍽️ Serves: 8–10 | ⏱️ Prep Time: 10 min + chill time

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 2 (8 oz / 225 g) blocks cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained very well)

  • ½ cup finely chopped red bell pepper

  • ¼ cup finely chopped green onions

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional mix-in or for coating)

  • ½ cup chopped parsley, pecans, or shredded coconut (for rolling)

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Mix the base:
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, crushed pineapple, bell pepper, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.

  2. Form the cheeseball:
Shape mixture into a ball using clean hands or a spoon. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap.

  3. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until firm.

  4. Roll to coat:
Unwrap and roll in chopped parsley, nuts, or shredded coconut for a pretty finish.

  5. Serve:
Place on a serving plate surrounded by buttery crackers, pretzel thins, or sliced fruit (like apples or grapes).

✅ Tips:

  • Drain the pineapple very well to avoid a watery texture.

  • Add a pinch of cayenne or chopped jalapeño for a sweet-spicy kick.

  • Make mini cheeseballs for individual servings or party platters.
