Here’s a simple, fresh, and delicious Tomato and Mozzarella recipe β€” perfect as a salad, appetizer, or light side dish!


πŸ… Tomato and Mozzarella Salad (Caprese Style)

βœ… Ingredients:

  • 2–3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced

  • 8 oz (225g) fresh mozzarella, sliced

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • 2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1–2 tsp balsamic glaze (or reduction) (optional)

  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste


πŸ”ͺ Instructions:

  1. Layer Ingredients:
    On a plate or serving platter, alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella. Tuck whole basil leaves between each slice.

  2. Season & Drizzle:
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle olive oil over the top. Add balsamic glaze if using.

  3. Serve:
    Serve immediately, or let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes to enhance flavors.

  • Add avocado slices for creaminess.

  • Use heirloom tomatoes for color and flavor variety.
