Here’s a luxurious yet easy-to-make seafood dish: Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter 🦞. Perfect for a date night, holiday dinner, or any time you want to impress β€” without a lot of effort.


πŸ§„πŸ§ˆ Baked Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter

βœ… Ingredients:

  • 2 lobster tails (4–6 oz each)

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp paprika (for color)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley & lemon wedges (for garnish)


πŸ”ͺ How to Butterfly Lobster Tails:

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of the lobster tail, lengthwise, stopping at the tail fin.

  2. Gently pull apart the shell and lift the meat up, resting it on top of the shell, while still attached at the base (this is called “butterflying”).

  3. Make a shallow cut down the center of the meat to help it cook evenly and hold the garlic butter.


πŸ”₯ Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).

  2. Make the garlic butter:

    • In a bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture.

  4. Place lobster tails in a baking dish or on a foil-lined sheet.

  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.
    (Internal temp should be 135–140Β°F)

  6. Optional broil: For extra golden tops, broil for the last 1–2 minutes β€” but watch closely to avoid burning.

  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and extra garlic butter on the side.

  • Garlic mashed potatoes or risotto

  • Steamed asparagus or roasted vegetables

  • Crusty bread to soak up the butter
