Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Here’s a delicious and easy recipe for Parmesan Baked Potatoes — crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Perfect as a side dish or snack!


🧀🥔 Parmesan Baked Potatoes

🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • 4 medium russet or Yukon gold potatoes, halved lengthwise

  • 3 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated is best)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for garnish


🔪 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven

Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a greased baking dish.

2. Prepare cheese mixture

On a plate or shallow dish, mix together:

  • Parmesan

  • Garlic powder

  • Paprika

  • Salt and pepper

3. Coat the potatoes

  • Brush the cut side of each potato half with melted butter or oil.

  • Press cut side firmly into the cheese mixture to create a cheesy crust.

4. Bake cut-side down

  • Place potatoes cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and crispy and the potatoes are tender when pierced.

5. Cool & serve

Let rest for 5 minutes to firm up the crust, then serve warm, optionally garnished with chopped herbs or a dollop of sour cream.


🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Great with grilled meats, roast chicken, or as a brunch side

  • Add a drizzle of ranch, garlic aioli, or spicy mayo for dipping
