Condensed Milk Cake

Posted on May 31, 2025
Here’s a sweet, simple, and beautifully moist dessert: Condensed Milk Cake! This rich and buttery cake uses sweetened condensed milk for sweetness, tenderness, and a delicate crumb. No frosting needed — it’s perfect with a dusting of powdered sugar or fresh fruit.

🍰 Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients (Serves 8–10):

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: powdered sugar, berries, or whipped cream for serving

🔧 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan or loaf pan.

  2. Mix the wet ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Add the dry ingredients:
Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined — don’t overmix.

  4. Pour into pan and smooth the top.

  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

🍽 Serve With:

  • A dusting of powdered sugar

  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries

  • A dollop of whipped cream

  • A drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce

🔁 Variations:

  • Add lemon or orange zest for a citrusy twist

  • Mix in shredded coconut or chopped nuts

  • Swap vanilla for almond extract for a different flavor
