Ingredients (Serves 2β4):
-
2β4 lobster tails (4 to 6 oz each), thawed if frozen
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
3β4 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp paprika (for color and mild flavor)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Optional garnish: lemon wedges, chopped parsley
π§ Instructions:
1. Prep the Lobster Tails:
-
Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
-
Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
-
Gently pull the shell apart and lift the meat up, resting it on top of the shell (this is called butterflying). Be careful to keep it attached at the base.
2. Make Garlic Butter:
-
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush & Bake:
-
Place the prepped lobster tails on a baking sheet.
-
Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture, reserving a little for after baking.
-
Bake for 10β12 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned on top (internal temp should be 140β145Β°F / 60β63Β°C).
4. Serve:
-
Brush with remaining garlic butter.
-
Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
π½ Great With:

Steamed asparagus or green beans

Garlic mashed potatoes or risotto

Crusty bread to soak up extra butter
π Tips & Variations:
