Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

Posted on May 30, 2025
Here’s a simple, crispy, and delicious recipe for Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes — the perfect side dish or snack with minimal oil and maximum flavor!

🥔 Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work well)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color and flavor)

  • Optional: fresh herbs (like rosemary, thyme, or parsley), grated Parmesan, or chili flakes

Instructions:

1. Prep the Potatoes:

  • Wash and scrub potatoes (peel if you prefer).

  • Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds using a knife or mandoline for even cooking.

  • Soak slices in cold water for 15–30 minutes to remove excess starch (this helps them get crispier).

  • Drain and pat thoroughly dry with a clean towel.

2. Season:

  • Toss the dry potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and seasonings until evenly coated.

3. Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Arrange potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).

  • Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy. Thinner slices may cook faster.

4. Serve:

  • Sprinkle with fresh herbs, Parmesan, or dipping sauce like ranch, garlic aioli, or ketchup.

📝 Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray with oil before air frying.

  • Want a smoky twist? Add a dash of smoked paprika or chipotle powder.

  • Sweet potatoes also work well — just reduce cook time slightly.

Let me know if you’d like a loaded version (with cheese & bacon), or a garlic herb butter variation!
