Here’s a simple and refreshing Ginger Water recipe β€” great for digestion, inflammation, and giving your hydration a flavorful boost. You can enjoy it hot or cold!


🫚 Ginger Water Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root (about 2–3 tablespoons when sliced or grated)

  • 4 cups water

  • Optional additions:

    • Juice of 1/2 lemon

    • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)

    • Pinch of cayenne (for metabolism boost)

    • Mint leaves or cucumber slices (for a cooling version)

For Hot Ginger Water (Tea Style):

  1. Peel and slice or grate the ginger root.

  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add ginger and reduce heat.

  3. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Strain and pour into a mug.

  5. Add lemon juice and honey if desired. Enjoy warm.

For Cold Ginger Water (Infused):

  1. Thinly slice peeled ginger.

  2. Add to a pitcher with 4 cups of water.

  3. Let steep in the fridge for 4+ hours, preferably overnight.

  4. Add lemon slices, mint, or cucumber if desired.

  5. Strain (or not) and enjoy chilled.
