  • ½ tsp turmeric or cumin (for flavor, optional)

  • 1 cup water or milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1 egg (optional for extra protein)

  • 1 cup grated veggies (like zucchini, carrot, spinach, or cabbage)

  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or regular onions

  • 1 clove garlic, minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)

  • 1 tbsp oil (for batter or cooking)

Optional Add-ins:

  • Fresh herbs: parsley, cilantro, or dill

  • Chopped chilies or a pinch of chili flakes

  • 2 tbsp shredded cheese (for extra flavor—optional)

1. Make the Batter:

  • In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.

  • Add water/milk and egg (if using), mix to form a smooth batter.

  • Stir in grated veggies, garlic, green onions, and herbs.

2. Cook the Pancakes:
