Here’s a Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs recipe that’s tender, flavorful, and glazed with a finger-licking sweet-savory sauce. Perfect for dinner or a weekend treat!

🍯🧄 Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs

🧂 Ingredients

For the Ribs:

  • 2–3 lbs (1–1.5 kg) pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing, optional)

For the Sticky Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (for extra stickiness)

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (optional but amazing)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tsp water (for thickening)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep and Season the Ribs

  • Pat ribs dry with paper towels.

  • Remove the silver skin (membrane) from the back of the ribs if needed.

  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Cook the Ribs (Oven Method)

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover with foil.

  3. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

Optional: You can grill or pressure cook the ribs instead if preferred.

3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine:

    • Honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  3. Mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry, then stir it into the sauce.

  4. Simmer until thickened (2–3 minutes). Set aside.

4. Glaze and Broil

  1. Remove ribs from oven. Discard foil and drain any liquid.

  2. Brush generously with the sticky honey garlic sauce.

  3. Broil ribs for 5–7 minutes until caramelized and bubbly. Watch closely to avoid burning!

5. Serve

  • Let rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones.

  • Drizzle with extra sauce if desired.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions (optional).

🍽️ Tips

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in some of the sauce overnight.

  • Use a grill for the final step if you want a smoky touch.

  • Great with jasmine rice, roasted veggies, or a crunchy slaw.

Would you like a slow cooker version or a spicy twist added to the sauce?
