🍰 3-Ingredient Sponge Cake
Ingredients:

4 large eggs

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and line the bottom of an 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pan with parchment paper. -
Beat the eggs and sugar:
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the eggs and sugar on high speed for 7–10 minutes, until the mixture is pale, thick, and tripled in volume. -
Fold in the flour:
Sift the flour over the egg mixture. Gently fold it in using a spatula in batches — be careful not to deflate the mixture. Do not overmix. -
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. -
Cool:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
