🍊 Easy Orange Cake Recipe
Ingredients:

1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs
-
¼ cup (60ml) fresh orange juice
-
2 tbsp orange zest (from 1–2 oranges)

½ cup (120ml) plain yogurt or sour cream
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
(Optional glaze):

½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
-
2–3 tbsp orange juice
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or loaf pan.

Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cream butter and sugar: In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

Add eggs: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add orange zest and vanilla extract.

Combine wet and dry: Mix in yogurt and orange juice, then slowly add dry ingredients just until combined.

Bake: Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool and glaze: Let cool. If using, whisk powdered sugar and orange juice, then drizzle over the cake.
