Posted on May 1, 2025
Here’s a simple, crispy Air Fryer Fish Fillet Recipe that’s light, flavorful, and ready in under 20 minutes!

🐟 Crispy Air Fryer Fish Fillets

Ingredients:

  • 2 white fish fillets (e.g. cod, tilapia, haddock)

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.

  2. Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  3. Prepare the breading:

    • In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt.

    • In another bowl, beat the egg.

  4. Dip the fish:

    • First into the egg, letting excess drip off.

    • Then into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.

  5. Air fry the fillets:

    • Lightly grease the air fryer basket with oil or spray.

    • Place fillets in a single layer (don’t overlap).

    • Spray the tops lightly with oil for crispiness.

  6. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The fish should be golden and flake easily with a fork.

🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, or a light slaw.

  • Pair with roasted veggies or fries for a quick dinner.
