Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls – perfect for a quick treat or holiday dessert!


🍫 Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, if preferred)

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup or honey

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for coating)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate mixture:

    • In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and corn syrup (or honey).

    • Stir constantly until everything is melted and smooth.

    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

  2. Mix in Rice Krispies:

    • Pour the Rice Krispies into a large mixing bowl.

    • Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until fully coated.

  3. Shape into balls:

    • Allow the mixture to cool slightly (enough to handle).

    • Scoop out heaping tablespoonfuls and roll into balls using your hands.

    • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Optional coating:

    • Roll the balls in powdered sugar, cocoa powder, or shredded coconut for extra flavor and a festive look.

  5. Chill and serve:

    • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.

    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
