Posted on April 30, 2025
Here’s a simple and delicious Air Fryer Breaded Chicken Wings recipe that’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside:

🍗 Air Fryer Breaded Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (for heat)

  • Cooking spray or a little oil

Instructions:

  1. Prep the wings:

    • Pat the wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.

    • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3-5 minutes.

  2. Season:

    • In a large bowl, season the wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder. Mix well to coat.

  3. Bread the wings:

    • In one bowl, whisk eggs and water.

    • In another bowl, place the flour or breadcrumbs.

    • Dip each wing first in the egg wash, then coat in flour/breadcrumbs. Press lightly to ensure a good coating.

  4. Air fry:

    • Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray.

    • Place wings in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

    • Lightly spray the tops of the wings with oil.

    • Cook at 380°F (193°C) for 25–28 minutes, flipping halfway through.

    • For extra crispiness, increase to 400°F (204°C) for the last 2–3 minutes.

  5. Serve:

    • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

    • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, blue cheese, buffalo, etc.).
