Here’s a delicious, quick, and healthy Garlic Butter Salmon with Asparagus recipe—perfect for a one-pan dinner that’s ready in under 30 minutes:


🐟 Garlic Butter Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Optional: fresh parsley or dill for garnish, lemon wedges for serving


Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven (if baking method):

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
    (Or see stovetop instructions below.)

2. Season the Salmon and Asparagus:

  • Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Make Garlic Butter:

  • In a small saucepan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.

  • Stir in lemon juice and zest. Remove from heat.


Baking Method (One Pan):

4. Assemble and Bake:

  • Place salmon and asparagus on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet.

  • Spoon garlic butter evenly over salmon and drizzle any extra over asparagus.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily and asparagus is tender.


Stovetop Method (Quick Sear + Simmer):

4. Sear Salmon:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high with a bit of oil.

  • Sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 4–5 minutes, flip, then cook another 2–3 minutes.

  • Remove and set aside.

5. Sauté Asparagus and Finish:

  • In the same pan, add garlic butter and asparagus.

  • Sauté for 3–4 minutes until just tender. Return salmon to pan and spoon butter over to finish.


Serve With:

  • Rice, mashed potatoes, couscous, or a simple side salad.

  • Garnish with chopped herbs and lemon wedges for brightness.
