πŸ§… DIY Onion Hair Oil for Hair Growth

Benefits:

  • Onion is rich in sulfur, which boosts collagen production and strengthens hair follicles.

  • Helps with dandruff, premature graying, and thinning.

  • Regular use improves shine, volume, and scalp health.

🧴 Ingredients:

  • 1 medium red onion (rich in antioxidants)

  • 3–4 tablespoons coconut oil (or use castor oil, olive oil, or a blend)

  • 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (optional, for dandruff & strengthening)

  • 5–10 curry leaves (optional, for hair darkening and nourishment)

πŸ₯£ Instructions:

  1. Prepare Onion Base:

    • Peel and finely chop or grate the onion.

    • Crush it slightly to release the juice (don’t squeeze it all out).

  2. Infuse the Oil:

    • In a small pan, heat the coconut oil on low.

    • Add chopped onion, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves.

    • Let it simmer gently for 10–15 minutes until onions turn golden brown.

    • Turn off the heat and let the oil cool completely.

  3. Strain:

    • Strain the oil using a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a clean, dry bottle.

  4. Storage:

    • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in a cool, dry place.

πŸ’† How to Use:

  • Warm a small amount before use.

  • Massage into the scalp for 5–10 minutes.

  • Leave on for 30 minutes to overnight.

  • Wash with a mild shampoo.

  • Use 2–3 times a week for best results.
