Garlic Butter Lamb Chops

Here’s a savory and indulgent recipe for Garlic Butter Lamb Chops—perfect for a quick yet elegant dinner:


🥩 Garlic Butter Lamb Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4–6 lamb chops (rib or loin chops, about 1 inch thick)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme (or a mix), chopped

  • Optional: splash of lemon juice or red wine for deglazing


Instructions:

  1. Prep the Lamb:
    Pat lamb chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the Chops:
    Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet (cast iron works best) over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the lamb chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (about 130°F / 54°C for medium-rare). Remove from the pan and let them rest.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
    Lower the heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add garlic and herbs, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds until fragrant. (Optional: deglaze with a splash of wine or lemon juice.)

  4. Finish and Serve:
    Return the lamb chops to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over the top for 1–2 minutes. Serve immediately, drizzled with extra sauce.

  • Creamy mashed cauliflower

  • Sautéed green beans or asparagus
