🥟 Queso Fresco Avocado Wontons
Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado, diced

1/2 cup queso fresco, crumbled

2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1/2 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

20 wonton wrappers

Water (for sealing wontons)

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions:

Make the Filling:
In a bowl, gently combine avocado, queso fresco, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. -
Assemble Wontons:
Place 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water using your finger. Fold into a triangle or bring all four corners to the center to form a purse shape, pressing edges firmly to seal. -
Fry the Wontons:
Heat 2 inches of oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
🥣 Cilantro Lime Crema
Ingredients:

1/2 cup sour cream or Mexican crema

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon lime zest
-
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Salt to taste
Instructions:

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.

Chill for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
🍽️ To Serve:
Plate the wontons with a side of the cilantro lime crema for dipping. Garnish with extra cilantro or a lime wedge if desired.
