🧀 Cheese & Herb Puff Pastry Twists
Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1/2 cup grated cheese (Parmesan, Gruyère, or cheddar work great)

1 tsp dried herbs (thyme, oregano, or Italian seasoning)

Optional: a pinch of garlic powder or chili flakes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth it out.

Brush the entire sheet with beaten egg.

Sprinkle cheese, herbs, and seasonings evenly over half the sheet.

Fold the pastry in half over the filling, gently press down.

Cut into strips (about 1-inch wide), twist each strip a few times and place on the baking sheet.

Brush tops with egg wash.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
