Classic Cherry Delight Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:

1½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10–12 crackers)

¼ cup sugar

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
For the Cream Cheese Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
For the Topping:

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Instructions:

Make the Crust:

In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter until fully combined.

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish (or a similar size).

Chill in the fridge for about 15–20 minutes while you prepare the filling.

Prepare the Cream Layer:

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.

Fold in the whipped topping gently until smooth and fluffy.

Assemble the Dessert:

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.

Spoon the cherry pie filling over the top, spreading gently to cover.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
