You got it! 🌽 A Corn Casserole (also known as corn pudding or corn bake) is cozy, creamy, and super easy to throw together—especially perfect as a holiday side or comfort food classic.

Here’s the beloved, foolproof version:


Creamy Corn Casserole Recipe

Serves: 6–8
Prep Time: 5–10 min | Bake Time: 45–50 min


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained

  • 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

  • 1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix (8.5 oz)

  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for a cheesy twist)

  • Optional: 1/4 tsp black pepper or chopped chives for a little kick


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish or small casserole dish.

  2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until fully combined. (Add cheese here if using!)

  3. Pour mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.

  4. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.

  5. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving—it firms up slightly as it cools.


 Optional Add-Ins:

  • Diced green chilies or jalapeños for a Tex-Mex kick

  • Crumbled bacon (yep, highly recommended)

  • Fresh corn off the cob if you want to go extra homemade
