Condensed Milk Cake

Posted on April 25, 2025
Yes! A Condensed Milk Cake is rich, moist, and beautifully simple — no frosting needed (unless you want to!). Here’s a classic recipe that’s easy and perfect with coffee or tea:

Condensed Milk Cake

Servings: 8
Prep time: 10 min
Bake time: 30–40 min
Pan: 8-inch round or loaf pan

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz or ~400g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (or neutral oil)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line your pan.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.

  3. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix).

  4. Pour into prepared pan and smooth the top.

  5. Bake 30–40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Optional: Dust with powdered sugar, glaze with lemon, or top with fresh berries.
